| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current/recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He is currently working as a principal security engineer, started back in 2011 and then moved to Canada for higher studies and then started working there, mainly monitoring the system, analysing the things like security incidents, reporting, communication to the management and providing trainings and remediation to the concerned authorities. Then after 2 1/2 years over there and moved to Qatar and worked over there as a senior cybersecurity analyst for more than 4 1/2 years and when the COVID hit he moved back to Pakistan and joined his current company. There was no one in the security team, was the only one who was managing the things like planning, designing of security, network security, identifying reporting vulnerabilities and communicating with stakeholders about the results of a pen test and risk vulnerabilities. He was also helping developers as well to guide them in a proper way to code in a secure way, he designs a pipeline for them so they can write the code in a more proper way then last year, he got promoted to principal security engineer 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest and specialist in? He specializes in programming and is an expert in PHP, Python, Golang, MySQL, and NoSQL. His core responsibilities were managing security assessments, managing clients, managing management, dealing with management. He also has experience to manage the IT teams The biggest project he has done is when he altered all the pipeline for development as they were writing codes but not in a secure way so he had the developers to develop the web components and the API, the company was very vulnerable at that time but right now can say it’s nearly impossible to hack into the company |
