| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He first started his career with a company called XXXX, he worked there for a brief period of two years and then moved to Saudi Arabia back again where he worked on his very first big data Hadoop project in the Middle East. After that, he heard from the XXXX where he was hired as a Big Data Architect; he did Hadoop-related projects there and also was responsible for training his fellow engineers in Hadoop since they didn’t have any background yet. When he left the XXXX, they grew to about 250 analysts and worked with some big and high stake projects. After that, he joined XXXX which is basically the largest telecom company in MEA, he was the Big Data Team Leader for them and then moved to XXXX as a Management Consultant where he worked for several projects for both private and public sector, and he worked on indirect tax data analysis and worked for some private family-owned businesses. After that, he moved to XXXX as an Independent Consultant for Big Data where he was directly interfacing with the CEO of the company and then moved to India where he joined XXXX as the Head of Data & Insights where he bridges gap between business requirements and technical implementations. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be handling complex projects especially since he have experience with large firms with lots of direct employees and stuff. He is responsible for cleaning large, complex data projects so regardless of the scale and size of the company, he’s confident he can work on it. He is also strong with people management and leading them right without being obstructive of them. The biggest team size he has handled so far is about 15 engineers in his previous company. |
