| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He has been working on image and video processing since his undergraduate days and have worked on a variety of problems such as self-detection, face recognition, and similar stuff. He was mostly classical vision techniques in that. After that, he proceeded to work at the XXXX as a Research Assistant for a year where he worked on variety of problems including developing very fast algorithm for real-time detection like traffic lights and stuff, the other one was related to CUDA programming for a very fast implementation of high-dimensional kernel filtering algorithms. After that, he proceeded to do his Master’s at the XXXX where he exclusively specialized in computer vision and deep learning; he has now completely switched to deep learning and has worked on variety of problems again including semantic segmentation, object detection, and stuff. After his degree, he started pondering about the implications of the optimization and the generalization aspects of deep neural networks so he actually proceeded to do his PhD in Canada, due to some family matters, he had to go back to India and dropped the program after a year. He is now a Machine Learning Engineer SDE-II for XXXX where he is building computer vision products aiming to do automation of factories, automobile industries, and production industries. He is working with them as an R&D Engineer and build state-of-the-art LVMs and integrating neural architecture into their product. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision since these are what he has been doing since he started his career and studies. In terms of the languages and tools, he’s proficient with Python, together with C++ and Matlab; he’s also proficient with machine learning and deep learning libraries starting from Pytorch, Tensorflow, and others. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has pursued his PhD in Computer Engineering but didn’t finished it yet. He is strong with machine learning and AI, also great with Python programming and has used R programming language as well before. He is experienced with ML libraries and for the cloud platforms, he’s generally good with AWS. |
