| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He’s currently working with XXXX as a Lead MTS Analog Design where he is mostly defining some architecture for subsystem level such as trans receiver or receiver. He is also doing circuit level analog design and mentoring junior engineers as well in doing subsystems level design aspect. He is also the one ensuring that all the schematic level designs. Before this, he was with XXXX as a Senior A&MS Circuit Design Engineer and was also an Analog Design Engineer for XXXX where they were working on Ethernet Service IPs; most of the blocks he has worked on are PLL, DLL, few LDO phase interpolator, and some subsystem in the chip top level. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be designing some innovative circuits and defining what all the top level specs would be. He’s good with mostly architectural and analog circuit design; considers these as his core competency skills. Also great in ensuring that works/projects get delivered on a specific deadline. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has around 7+ years of experience with analog design industry. He’s mostly worked on wireline transceiver and has worked on <1 GHz baseband or RF stuff during his previous internships. Had his Master’s in VLSI and Microelectronics so he’s knowledgeable with it together with DACs and have some experience with ADCs as well. His current role has lots of similarity to the AMS Product Lead role since he’s also involved with defining product based on marketing feedback up to full cycle of architecture to validation and production. Good with RTL verification as part of analog designs and is confident with leading a team depending on the product and number of subsystems he will handle. |
