| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? After graduation, he started his career with XXXX as an Associate Consultant where he was basically getting the requirements from the clients, authoring test cases, and writing discrepancies; he was also responsible there for contributing to multiple projects. Later on in this company, he was promoted as a Team Lead where he handled about seven members while also being an individual contributor himself. He covered everything from unit testing, system integration, testing, and integration testing. After that, he moved to XXXX as a QA Manager Specialist where he again was an individual contributor and worked for 2-3 projects, he was leading about 12 QA engineers and ensured premium qualities for web-based application and desktop-based application, as well as mobile applications. His last role was with XXXX as a Test Manager where he was leading the project called Jaguar-Landrover which is an automation of industrial and automobile; he was leading a team of 18 QA engineers there divided into two methodologies: Agile and Verification & Validation Methodology. Back then, he authored many of the test cases and test plans, also responsible for the end-to-end testing activities in the entire SDLC. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be functional testing and automation testing. Apart from the technical side, he’s great with team leading, the biggest team he has handled was around 18 QA engineers. Domain wise, all of the three companies he has been with are of different domain, so he can quickly learn and adapt whichever domain he was assigned to. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has overall 9+ years of experience in software QA testing, 7 years of it is with automation experience. He’s also proficient with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TA Suite, and Postman for API integrations. Well versed with Agile development environment and using Jira for bug-tracking. He also has background of AI and ML especially in his previous role. |
