| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He joined XXXX as a fresher from campus hire about 5+ years ago, he was originally hired as a Manual Tester but later on moved into Automation as well due to his curiosity for coding. For the past three years, he has been doing mostly automation testing and had to maintain pre design framework based on Selenium, and also has worked on two other projects now; one project was built completely on Cucumber BDD, Selenium, and Java-based, and the other project he was involved in maintaining the framework. So overall, his experiences include both automation and manual testing depending on the needs of the project. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be Java with Selenium since he has been working on these two when he started his career. He can also rate himself about 3.5 out of 5 when using it since he believes there’s always room to learn and improve. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has almost 5 years of experience in software testing in which 3+ are within automation testing. Proficient in using Selenium BDD, Cucumber, and other test automation tools. He has a bit of exposure with API testing in manual for only 6 months so he definitely would want to learn more in this area. Has used Jira, Katalon and for DB testing, mostly uses Oracle SQL developer. Familiar with the Agile methodology and has the knowledge about AI and LLMs, although not much hands-on experience yet on this. |
