| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He is currently working with XXXX as an Automation QA Engineer where he used to work on their regression part and on their different sites as well; he used Typescript there and was able to automate their old regression factor. He was responsible there for ensuring that tests are working fine, issues are resolved, and uses a mix of both Waterfall and Agile; do stand-up meetings every day and such. Before this, he was with XXXX as a QA Engineer where about 90% of his work involves API micro services environment testing, did EC2 to perform the test and regression/functional testing. He was also with XXXX as a Test Analyst where he was also using API to test customer journey type which was added to the loan application object field in their CRM. He also had several Test Analyst and QA Engineer roles with several companies before this. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would automation, regression testing, and most of the test automation tools; basically, he’s good with ensuring tests are running and defects are addressed. He also has good leadership skills since he has been managing few people along the way; it included running the business requirements, getting APIs, testing, smoke tests, cross-browser testing, and such. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has over 6 years of experience in software testing and 3+ of it was spent in automation testing. He is proficient with different test automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, TestCafe, Java, and Playwright as well since he has been expanding his skillsets. For bug tracking tools, he has experience with both Jira, Trello, and some others in the market. Almost all of the time he was involved with API integrations and testing especially in his previous company so he’s confident with it. AI and LLM are one of the things that he is looking to explore at the moment. |
