1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?    
His career started as a maintenance engineer before transitioning to sales. He a multinational company, as a sales engineer for elevators and escalators. Initially, he focused on new installations for a few years. He then transitioned to handling existing installations before being promoted to Senior Sales Engineer. His responsibilities grew to include XXXX, North Coast, and Delta. After 5 years, he was promoted again. He later received an offer from a top-five competitor as a Senior Sales Engineer. He stayed with XXXX for a year and 2 months. He then joined a local elevator and escalator company for a short period before transitioning to the IT industry. He currently he’s been working at XXXX as regional sales manager. This experience has been invaluable in developing his sales skills and leadership abilities, as he has managed small teams in the past. Transitioning from handling a single region initially (Egypt) to managing specific regions in Dubai and Sharjah, and currently overseeing three countries, has significantly broadened his skillset.

2.What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
His strongest skills actually come from his engineering background. He believes that working in sales is not only about selling, but also about understanding the product thoroughly and memorizing every detail. This approach increases his experience with the product he’s selling. He sees his engineering background as a strength because it allows him to truly understand the product he’s selling. Additionally, he believes he has strong communication and negotiation skills.

Starting as a Sales Engineer, he managed accounts across Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon.  Throughout his sales career, he has overseen the entire sales process, from prospecting and client acquisition to closing deals. In the elevator and escalator industry, he worked with both B2B and B2C clients. However, in the IoT/telematics field, he exclusively focuses on B2B, which offers a larger market share and more significant experience.
