Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He initially started his career with XXXX in Lebanon as a Trade Marketing & Traditional Trade Channel Activation Executive. And after there, he joined XXXX where he started with Beirut and then they offered him to go to Iran to setup the strategic planning and marketing strategy starting from scratch since it was more of a localized business. After that, moved to next assignment in Jordan being the Market Manager handling campaigns on the ground, deployment, and everything related to marketing such as PNL, budgeting, and so. He also was assigned to Oman and Yemen before COVID and was pretty much handling the same things. His last assignment there was with GCC and was the Key Account & 3PL Ecommerce manager for them, including Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and others where they did a big breakthrough on the UAE Expo. Because of his passion with tech, he joined XXXX as a Country Manager; he was one of the people there who invested first in the company and later on joined their team. The role was a pure commercial tool, partnerships, and later on, he was doing management for big area including Middle East, Africa, and Europe. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be bridging and forging good relationships with the external partners, strategic stakeholders, and even with the team management. Most of his career, he has been into cross-functional engagement and is good with dealing with people in general. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has strong experience with banking and fintech especially in his current role where they’re working with blockchain; he is knowledgeable and exposed to finance calculation, audit/financial statement, and balance sheet as well. Currently, he is handling Telcoin although not a super app yet, but they are planning to integrate microloans on telecom, sending and receiving money as well. He also has experience with regulatory and compliance in the UAE market, get licenses, and engage with everything related to it. |
