| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He have studied Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from XXXX. He has about 5 years of experience in the IT industry and has started his career in India; he used to work for leading banks back in India including XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX as a Test Engineer and was promoted later on to Senior QA roles. After sometime, he relocated to Dubai and joined XXXX as a Senior QA Engineer where, apart from QA, he is taking care of the product management; he is responsible for getting the requirements from the businesses and stakeholders/users, start with the documentation and briefing team, then into development and then testing. They are currently working on a restaurant platform for their client and their suppliers; worked together with frontend and backend developers, as well as QA testers to work on development, test and fix bugs, and release the project to production. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be automation since he mainly develops automation scripts from scratch. He also does backend automation and automate scripts from Postman. Recently, he started with front end automation as well such as automating whole flows from the frontend using Playwright. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer but he’s currently a Senior/Lead with 8-10+ members. He is knowledgeable with network monitoring tools and has used DataDog for monitoring in his current company, they also use AWS Cloud Watch but not as much as he uses DataDog. In terms of testing methodologies, he’s proficient with unit and integration testing, also involved with functional and UAE; he’s responsible for all functionality and system testing before production. He is also experienced with Postman, Selenium, and Playwright for automated testing frameworks; familiar with virtualization methodologies as well especially in his previous and current roles. |
