| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He was in the IT domain for the past 20+ years working on various roles including System Administrator, Trainer, and eventually becoming an IT Infrastructure Manager. After that, he moved into Information Security/Cybersecurity; he was delivering various projects in consulting primarily into governance, risk and compliance domain, and continuity management. While being a consultant, he has become a practice head, leading a GRC practice for a consulting organization. He also worked as a Chief Information Security for a couple of years for two organizations where they used to manufacture cards for 40+ banks across the globe, he was the one who managed their entire cybersecurity. After that, he moved into service delivery role into cybersecurity organization, XXXX, where he was primarily managing the entire service delivery of cybersecurity projects, enterprise client relationship, and managing revenue along with certain key engagement; he has successfully drove the growth of the company from 20 people to around 450+ people and close to USD 7M-8M revenue. After that, he moved to a startup where he established the whole practices for governance in compliance, vulnerability management, and security operations center. He built a whole team of around 120 people and was managing close to USD 3M-4M. He then went back to his old organization which offered him a revised role in Dubai, so he was managing and developing various practices there, closely working with the enterprise customers to help them into their cybersecurity initiatives. He was managing four major practices there including governance, risk and compliance, vulnerability management, SOC, and technology consulting. Currently, he is with a US based startup where he is responsible for setting up the entire organization in the ME, build whole practices, and bring revenue and deliver engagements for them. He’s again managing the four major practices and is establishing hiring team as well. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be his skill in delivering engagements in the cybersecurity domain. He also hasn’t left his hands on the consulting side of things even though he’s doing management in the past few years. He is also great with managing very complex projects through his service delivery expertise and has delivered number of successful engagements. Proficient in doing presales as well. |
