| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? Have over 10 years of experience working in different sectors in UAE and India. He has been into banking, health insurance, and ecommerce sectors and for the past 7 years, he has worked in UAE. He started as a part of the Application Support team as an L2 Engineer, later on being L2/L3 Engineer for XXXX. Recently, he worked with a startup company called XXXX where he took care of all the production site and mobile application; under his guidance is a team of 6-7 customer support engineers who were all working remotely in Egypt, they are the ones to get the issues/problems, provide a ticket, then forward it to him for resolving. He’s also handling other system queries such as administration for JIRA, Slack, and other tools including BI tools. He also used to assist BI Engineer in providing them reports from database that he have worked upon such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL; also has experience being a part of disaster recovery from data center and making sure that their applications are backed up, reports are generated, and documentations are accomplished. His main duty there is to ensure the smooth flow of operation and troubleshoot issues or bugs. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be application support since this is what he has been doing since he started his career in UAE. He is good in application support for both website and mobile apps, along with that, he’s also proficient with SQL and Linux specifically.
