| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He is a Software Engineer, and he started his career in 2015. He has been working as team lead since 2018 and he switched to UAE for XXXX for like 16 or 17 months now. Last June 2023, he shifted to full stack developer and his responsibility is to modernize the old applications which are obsolete or using old technologies. He introduced Jira for process and team management. He also introduced source controls like GitLAb Azure DevOps to enhance the performance and to use the latest processes and technologies. His major responsibility as a full stack developer is to digitalize and automate the manual processes. He is currently creating solutions in Node.JS and Angular for his company to automate the processes and go paperless. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? He specializes in full stack development, meaning he can do backend and frontend, but if he were to choose one of them, he would pick the backend. His core experience in the backend is .NET, PHP, and Node.JS and in the frontend he is very comfortable in using Angular. He has done some work in React as well so he can work with that language as well. For Architectural level, he is very confident in using .NET, Node.JS and in Angular. 3. Do you have list/s of key criteria that the client needs? If so can you tell me more? In C#, he has 8 years of experience in .NET and has been working with entity frameworks. He is also a Microsoft Azure Certified as well developing Azure Solutions and he has 3 years of experience in it. He worked with XXXX as a freelancer, an oil and gas company. When he was with them, he worked with GraphQL and Python but only limited in Python because he worked with flask framework only. For Java, he has no working experience in it. For networking concepts, as a full stack developer himself, he has working knowledge in it and have an understanding in implementing TCP/IP, the packets, and everything but not as much as a network engineer. |
