Have been in the UAE for about six years now. His background is more on the legal compliance risk in the banking sector back in Ireland and was basically spearheading a GPR initiative for XXXX. After that, was a GDPR Consultant as well for XXXX. After that, he moved to UAE together with his wife and joined XXXX as a Director of Group Data Protection Officer. After 3 years, he joined XXXX in Abu Dhabi as the Director of Data Governance and Data Protection Officer where they worked closely with Chinese companies working on facial recognition, spearheaded XXXX for payments and access across major attractions in Abu Dhabi (XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX). After that, he went to XXXX as the Director of Data Protection and Privacy where he was basically crafting and executing a comprehensive data governance framework for DPG strategy and IPO readiness.
