| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? He has done his graduation last 2022 and has joined XXXX afterwards as his first company. He started with them as an SQA Trainee where he learned the basics such as working on a QA environment, collaborate with teams, and attended multiple types of trainings. After that, he got promoted as a Junior SQA Analyst where he was automating applications, their products, and create automation frameworks to implement; due to some reasons, he had to work on both manual and automated testing and was able to create a successful automation framework and implemented it on their regression suite. He was also a manual tester where he used to create tickets, resolve bugs through it, and responsible for testing them as well. They started using Selenium then moved towards Playwright using JavaScript. Currently, he’s serving as an SDET for them and he is responsible for manual testing, software validation, and automation QA strategy. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be automation testing using Playwright on JavaScript, Selenium, and Cypress as well. Proficient with Cucumber and Docker since he’s currently doing a course on these two. Aside from his technical skills, he can also work really well under pressure. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has a total of 3+ years of experience in software testing, mostly doing both manual and automation. Great with different test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, JavaScript, and Playwright; has experience with API testing as well using Playwright and C# on JavaScript. For bug tracking tools, he’s familiar with Jira and Azure DevOps, following Agile methodology as well currently. He is also very interested and has knowledge of AI and LLMs; he knows the basics on how to test it and interested in learning more about it as well. |
