| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? Has more than 13.5 years into hardware design and development. He has been mostly working with analog and mixed signal design cycles like low power supply design and a couple of other products as well. He is also currently involved with high speed electronics design with XXXX as a Technical Lead; his main responsibilities here are requirement gathering from customer, documentations, and preparing the high level, low level block diagrams and then components selections as well. He also is closely working with cross functional teams such as mechanical BGA development and microcontroller coding, development team, and software team. Before this, he was an Associate Manager for XXXX where he worked as a senior hardware design engineer for actuation business unit, designing the motor drive electronics for BLDC motor. He was also a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for XXXX, Lead Engineer for XXXX, and he started off as a Hardware Design Engineer for XXXX where he also was involved with heavy hardware design. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be more into the analog and mixed signals since he has been doing this for the course of his career; great with ADC, DAC, and the motor driver electronics products. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He is strong with designing analog circuit for baseband to <1 GHz process nodes, he has been handling this baseband level for about 8-10 years now. Strong with VLSI and circuit design, aside from that he mentioned he has been involved with the full product development cycle of analog chips as well from hardware design to prototyping and mass production. Proficient with ADCs, DACs, and high speed electronics. Has only a bit of exposure in terms of hands on Verilog but can support BGA on a hardware level since he has been developing BGA-based solutions. Can lead a technical team and experienced it during his previous company where he handled about 10 members. |
