| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? Have studied Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Australia and afterwards, he started his job in India as a Desktop Engineer and gradually got good positions, later on was a Sr. Network Administrator for them; have performed various duties including managing hardware/software of desktop, laptop, and servers, handled DNS/DNCP servers, print servers, virtualizers, and technologies like Hypervisor and VMware. Basically, he took care and managed their servers like Nagios and Zabbix. After that, he joined XXXX where he is currently working for XXXX as a Sr. Cloud Support Executive; his daily operations are mostly Azure-based and he takes care of the infrastructure part of the whole company. He is also managing firewalls, Fortigate checkpoint on Azure; also handles their VMS, some web application firewalls, and provide VR solutions as well for them. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be firewall management since he has been working on this area for the past 8 years including DNS servers, virtualization technologies (HyperV and VMWare). Also, most of his works are done in Azure so he’s also good with creating backup and creating new work on VMS. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? Has great knowledge of implementing/installing server hardware platforms and has actively looked over data centers in his previous job including 18 physical servers and 52 virtual servers; in Hong Kong, they had one data center and one server room as well to which he was both managing. Great with server rack and stack, hardware/software configuration, used to do the cabling and troubleshooting as well. In terms of server management software, he’s mostly familiar with HyperV. |
