| Interview Assessment Notes | 1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs? Has been in the software development industry for about 25 years now and has PhD in Machine Learning. For the first 10 years of his career, he was doing more of software development on the analytic side, he was also in the telco industry for several years. After that, started his career with data science where he started working on the Fintech side and joined XXXX and XXXX as a Technical Lead/Software Architect; he worked on applications that serve the information retrieval and disclosure regulations for financial instruments. After that, joined XXXX as a Software Architect where he woked on the IRS portals for performance optimization and capacity planning of the application data. After that, he took a career break to take his PhD in Machine Learning and joined XXXX as the Head of Machine Learning Platform Engineering where he headed the machine learning team which is working on the technical development of graph machine learning features for XXXX. After this company, he started doing independent consulting and is working on different projects at the moment. 2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in? Strongest skill would be his great formal training and understanding of the theories on how to abstract problems, build solutions using math, and implement solutions as well. He has great combination of both formal training and strong practical experience for many domains including telecommunications, government, financial services, retail, and transportation. 3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements? He has PhD in Machine Learning, finished this last 2019. Strong with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and deep learning as well. Strong with Python and R programming language, has been using this for the last 10 years. Proficient with ML libraries such as Tensorflow and Pytorch. Has experience with all AWS, Azure, and GCP for cloud services as well. |
